using the tapestry needle. Be sure to sew around both sides of the arm as they
will be a stress point during play.

the Mgc Rng using the tapestry needle. Be sure to sew around both sides of the
leg as they will be a stress point during play.
HAIR
To make the hair, cut 6
pieces of yarn about 4” long. Working around the last 6 Sts of the head, Latch
Knot through each of the 6 Sts at the top of the head, separate the Plies of
each strand of yarn to give them some pizazz using the tapestry needle and
fluff out your hair tuft. Tie a ribbon around the top of your tuft of hair to
pretty it up.

ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I have 2 quick and easy questions to verify what I am reading above--
ReplyDelete1- The whole item is made with 2 strands held together as one?
2- What color exactly would you suggest for the skin color?
Thanks!!
Shannon, yes you use 2 strands of worsted to achieve this size for all the crochet. These babies were all done with Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn - light peach. ~pam
ReplyDeleteHow tall are the babies once finished?
ReplyDeleteAll of mine made with 2 strands held together was almost exactly 11 inches tall standing up. ~p
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, want to try for my Great Granddaughter...Thanks
