Hippy Chickie...

OmCrochet! Reminding y'all just how much I love granny squares! For me, they are mindless relaxing fun! I started this blanket after months of drooling over my friend Gina's knitted ripple blanket that has a name in Gaelic that I can't pronounce, much less spell! Oh it is B. E. A. U. Tiful! Well...I cannot knit. She then started a granny blanket and I was in! I can do them...in my sleep I can do them! So...I had already been stockpiling Bernat Mosaic for something glorious...maybe I would do a ripple or some other row blanket...nope boring for me. I HAD TO HAVE A BLANKET MADE WITH SELF STRIPING YARN! So happy to share my pretty pretty rainbowy happy blankie! Hope you enjoy her as much as I do!

She is 51"x62", 9 colorways, 12 balls, and 2 skeins of a solid join/border/hug. Colors are psychedelic, calypso, gamut, vivid, mineral, ninja, medusa, budgie, & pink poodle.

  2. Yay! Glad you finally got to do a blanket with self-striping yarn. It's fun, no?

I named mine Iontach Dathannach Mamó Blaincead because I'm funny that way. ;)
