Love Out Loud

Love is not a noun! It is a verb! You gotta show it, do it, be it, give it and get it. It can be all consuming, or it can be a whisper, or somewhere in between. But it has *to be*!

Rochelle made some love into things. Things that I needed to remind me of my sister. Things that I needed to use to share love. Things that I could touch and hold. She truly loved out loud and now I can with them!

  1. This was what this blog was supposed to say...mobile wouldn't let me.
I like to think that I've loved out loud my whole life. I know I have for the last several years. It's important to know that loving out loud is the little things. Little things don't have to cost much, or anything, really. Holding a door open for a stranger, or a smile, or patiently waiting as an older person pays for his stuff show love. When my sister was in the final stages of cancer she loved out loud...really loud! She ordered this knotting granny a set of hooks for Christmas. I didn't need hooks, I own lots. It was a way for her to show me she loved what I do and to keep on doing it. Small glitch, I can't use the normal hooks anymore, my hands need extra help, now. I have several friends who add clay to hooks and one offered to help me get to use my gift. When I asked to help her by buying the clay, she said nope. So I mailed them across the country...they came home all wrapped in love. I was thrilled, and I could use them! I am blessed! She named them the Love Out Loud set. Every time I get to use one of them I get asked where I got them. So I get to share love. Love of a sister and love of a friend and love going where ever those knots are going. Smile, hug, any kindness at all and see how much better you feel.

Debra Candler, sister, I miss you with every breath and I feel you with every knot!

Rochelle Thompson, you may never know because there aren't words, the love I see, feel, can give away with every touch of one of these hooks. Thank you and loving you out loud!
